Description
This is a beautiful and very large apothecary jar. I did a bit of research and this was used for herbs. It could be medical or from a kitchen. It has a beautiful floral pattern around the lid and the bottom. It is on a pedestal base, also trimmed out in blue. It is 16" tall and just stunning. Marked on the bottom, it says Salus Pisa- the region this piece was made. A very unique and beautiful piece. No damage of any kind. The front says Rabarbaro. (which seems to mean Rhubard, in English)
