Description
This is a great old mortar and pestle. It is a heavy piece and in great condition with no chips or damage. It is a good size and came from a group of pharmacies that closed in the 1970’s and began about 1886. The mortar is 5" across and has a small pour spout. The pestle is 4 3/4" long. The bowl is 2 1/2" deep. Perfect for the kitchen for grinding herbs too.
