Description

An obsolete Railway Police badge. This is an antique piece and has a "C" clasp on the back. There is also a scroll hallmark with American Railway Co. New York. It is in good condition. I hesitate to clean them as the buyer might like the original patina. This piece is 2 3/5" across and 3 1/8" long. It is from Pennsylvania Railroad. This is an 1890’s issue.

The Pennsylvania Railroad (reporting mark PRR) (or Pennsylvania Railroad Company and also known as the "Pennsy") was an American Class I railroad that was established in 1846 and was headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was called the Pennsylvania Railroad because it was established in the state of Pennsylvania. *(Wiki)
