In the 1980’s and early 90’s, I had a large bear collection. I liked the Steiff and any Mohair animals the best. This lot is part of my personal collection. A very neat collection of little bears to tiny mini animals that are 2" tall. All of the animals in this mini suitcase are jointed. I am going to add a list since it is difficult to make them all out. I will not be listing the makers as I am not certain of all of them any more. I will give as much information as possible. All bears are fully jointed. (the items I refer to "tiny" are most likely Steiff, early pieces. I have found a couple of them online. The frog is shown as a Steiff.
Top Left: Mohair Rabbit with pink trim and a tiny purple flower necklace, tiny green frog with tiny metal heart, Dark Taupe Teddy Bear with black glass eyes and a black nose. White Mohair Teddy, black glass eyes, black nose.
2nd row Left: Tiny classic Steiff mohair bear w/ear tag, tiny bumble bee with wings and striped body and antenna , Rust colored velvet bear black glass eyes, black leather paw pads and black bow neck.
3rd row Left: Fuzzy brown bear-chenille, dark brown velvet moose, chenille beige bear, Mohair bronze colored bear, rust Gund chenille bear.
4th row Left: Brown fuzzy bear with glass eyes, camel colored bear with glass eyes, hand made tiny teddy felt with pink eyes and nose.
Front row Left: Tiny velvet bear light beige with heart and HW on foot, Tiny Lion bear golden color with faux leather pads, tiny beige velvet bear with faux leather pads, corduroy bear, light beige, tiny burgundy bear with faux leather pads. All of the "Tiny" pieces are 2" tall. The largest bear is the Gund and it is 8" tall. It has beans in the bottom and the name is Hiccup.
The little suitcase is 8" across, 5 1/2" front to back and 3 1/2" wide. It has the original lining and key for locking. There are stickers as can be seen in the pictures.
