From my personal collection, I have decided to downsize the time it takes me to dust each week. I am also afraid that all of my favorite things will end up on the quarter table. lol… This piece is a Beautiful Paragon tea cup and saucer made in England. It is a fine bone china and in excellent condition. It holds 6 ounces and is suitable for coffee or tea. This set has a thistle in the center with a crown inside of it. It also has the letters P and E around the rim inside of the cup, with a crown over each. The color of this set is a true aqua and has not only the green thistle in the bottom center but it has pink roses around the thistle. There is very ornate gold overlay in the aqua of the cup and the saucer. I have to assume the P with the crown over it is for Prince Phillip and the Q with the crown is for Queen Elizabeth. The saucer is 5 1/2" across. The cup is 4" across and 2 1/4" tall. The handle has a neat design and is trimmed out in gold. Great for a wedding gift or a bridal shower, perfect for collecting or display. None of the items in this shop have any damage of any kind. All of the pieces listed are all suitable for coffee or tea.
