I purchased it with shells inside but it could display fancy soaps in the bathroom, collectible items of any kind or be actually used for Spring Flowers. This is a beautiful piece with a wispy leaf type pattern etched around the sides of the piece. It is on a pedestal and has absolutely no damage of any kind. It is perfect for a button display or (as in my case) a display of glass door knobs. No etching inside, no flea bites or nicks on the rim. Absolutely perfect. Made in Poland. This piece is 9" tall and 6 1/2" across the top of the vase. I try to describe items as accurately as possible. I prefer not to take returns. If I have made a mistake in a listing, I will make it right with the buyer.
