Description
This is a very unique 1901 hand beaded purse. It is a round bag and has a very ornate closure with a raised cherub on the top. It is done in dark colored aurora borealis beads. It is done on black leather and has a black fabric back. The inside is raw leather. It is 5 1/2" long. The handle drop is 2 1/2". It is 4 1/2" across. A very rare find. It has a unique closure and it is marked with a patent date of July 2, 1901.
