This is a great Old Pottery Piece. I think it is a Cat. It has a raised finish with yellow daisies that have black centers with white dots. The outside of this piece is very much like Majolica, but I cannot make out the makers mark on it. It may be from Mexico. It is a certain one of a kind and a really neat piece. It is brown pottery inside of the lid (small chip) and inside of the jar. I would imagine it is a cookie jar, because I don’t know what else it would be used for. It is a good size piece and looks very unusual. It is 8 1/2" tall to the top of the tail and 10" long. The eyes are glass. Some areas are golden color. The majority is a mustard color. The small lid chip cannot be seen when the jar is closed.
