An Early but very large bunny rabbit Stuffed Mohair Petz, Anton Kiesewetter, (Coburg) Germany. Collectible Teddy Bears and animals.
Petz is the tradename/logo created for Anton Kiesewetter, (Coburg) Germany. The original company was founded in 1849, but it began designing and making teddy bears and animals in 1921. This is a REALLY great rabbit. I believe it is Mohair, it seems to be. It has black glass eyes and has the Petz chest tag. This rabbit is stuffed with straw or hay. This is a fantastic piece and in really nice condition. It is 24" to the top of the rabbit without the ears. The arms and legs are not adjustable. I try to describe items as accurately as possible.
