From my personal collection, I have decided to downsize the time it takes me to dust each week. I am also afraid that all of my favorite things will end up on the quarter table. lol… This piece is a Beautiful Aynsley (which is my favorite maker), made in England. It is a fine bone china and in excellent condition. It holds 6 ounces and is suitable for coffee or tea. This is an absolutely Stunning tea cup and saucer. The set dates to the 1930’s. There is no damage of any kind. The cup, saucer and handle are all trimmed with gold. The saucer is 5 1/2" across. The cup is 3 1/2" across the top and 2 3/4" tall. The colors on this piece are just beautiful. It is navy blue in the background and the rim of the cup and saucer are all trimmed out in heavy gold dots and fleur de lis. It has a beautiful bouquet in the center of the cup and the saucer. Done in pink, orange and blue flowers with green leaves in the background. It has a scalloped rim on the cup and saucer.
