This is a fantastic hospital robe. Designed in the 40’s and 50’s to wear over your hospital gown, when having a baby. You would get lots of visitors and this was a little dressier than the hospital white gowns. It is short, to the waist for sanity reasons. This piece is quilted satin. This piece is 14 1/2" across the shoulders. It is 18" long and 18" across, under the arms. A very unique and rare find. It is in very good condition with no damage of any kind and is a light baby blue. A very neat old piece. I am sure this is what June Cleaver would have worn when she had Wally and the Beave. lol.. I try to describe items as accurately as possible.
