From my personal collection, this is a very neat old piece. It dates to the 1920’s and is in very nice clean condition. Someone over the years has added small wooden feet to the bottom. All aspects of this typewriter seem to be working with no sticky keys. The outside is very nice with no visible scratches or damage. The metal is all clean and shinny. It has been a part of my collection for about 20 years. It is a very neat old piece. It is a Remington No. 5, portable. I have never had the case to this piece. It is 10" across, 4 1/2" tall and 11" deep. A great display piece. This typewriter comes with ribbon and the ribbon winder is in great working condition as well.
