From my personal collection, I have a cabinet full of demitasse tea cups and saucers. When I get a new one, I boot out an old one that I don’t love as much as some of the others. It is becoming more difficult to do the kicking out of some of my favorites. I have had this piece for about 30 years and it is time to let it go. This piece is made in Occupied Japan and is primarily black, has white rims that are trimmed out in gold. The saucer is pierced and a lovely piece.. The saucer is 4 7/8" across. The cup is 2 1/2" across the top and 2 1/8" tall.
