This is a fantastic basket, hand crafted by artisans in the Ozarks. This piece is in great condition and has the original label still intact on the basket. It says on the tag " This basket is hand-split and hand woven by native Ozark Craftsmen. It is one of the few craft items made locally. In this modern age, few poses the skill and dedication necessary for this Ozark craft". It is 13" long and 8 1/2" wide. It is 6 1/2" deep and 12" tall to the top of the handle. A very pretty hand crafted basket. It is filled with very nicely made wooden eggs that are brown and white, just like on the farm. This would be a great addition to any Chicken/Rooster Kitchen. The eggs are a fine porcelain.
