From my personal collection, I have decided to downsize the time it takes me to dust each week. I am also afraid that all of my favorite things will end up on the quarter table. lol…This is a very pretty fine bone china tea cup and saucer. It is marked Chelson, England. I have not seen this mark. I assume it may be an earlier version of Royal Chelsea. This set is just stunning and all hand painted. It has beautiful bright blue bird wings with a bright yellow neck and orange body. It has beautiful bright flowers and is all trimmed out in black, which is a bit unusual. It has the most beautiful design with the most vivid colors. The cup base, rim and saucer rim are all trimmed out in black. The handle on the cup is also black. This cup holds 6 ounces. The cup is 3 1/2" across the top and 2 7/8" tall. The saucer is 5 5/8" across. No damage of any kind. Great for a wedding gift or a bridal shower, perfect for collecting or display. None of the items in this shop have any damage of any kind. All of the pieces listed are all suitable for coffee or tea.
